TF--Camellia Oleifera Seed Extract--Clean and skin care

According to data, the market scale of the toiletries industry is continuously expanding. While an individual may not have a need for skincare, cleansing is an indispensable part of daily routine. As the third largest segment in skincare products and a subcategory under toiletries, as well as a preliminary step in facial care, the high prevalence of cleansing products is undeniable.
Generally, cleansing products can be categorized into three types based on their base: soap-based, sulfate-based, and amino acid-based. At first glance, these three types seem unrelated to being "waterless." However, if we categorize them by formulation—aqueous, paste, and powder—it becomes clear that starting with powders makes achieving a waterless state relatively easy.
Powder cleansers typically do not contain oil components, and are often gentler, effectively removing surface dirt and oils from the skin without compromising the natural barrier. They are suitable for various skin types. The powdered form is convenient and easy to use, and it maintains the product's cleaning efficacy without degradation.
BARENATE® TF Camellia Seed Micro Powder, sourced from Camellia seeds, is produced by mechanically grinding and sieving the residue left after oil extraction, resulting in a powder of specific particle size. Because the production process is purely physical grinding, BARENATE® TF Camellia Seed Micro Powder is free from any chemical solvents, artificial fragrances, dyes, or components detrimental to the skin, including genetically modified organisms (GMOs); its nutrients and aroma (a naturally rich tea seed fragrance) are preserved intact. Classified by particle size, it is available in 20/30 mesh, 40/60 mesh, 60/80 mesh, and 80/100 mesh. The larger the particle size, the smaller the mesh number, allowing for selection of the appropriate particle size based on product requirements.
Constituent
Camellia Polysaccharides:
BARENATE® TF Camellia Seed Micro Powder contains 30-50% Camellia Polysaccharides. These polysaccharides are primarily composed of six monosaccharides: mannose, glucose, galactose, arabinose, rhamnose, and xylose. Camellia Polysaccharides possess a certain level of antioxidant capacity and have a protective and restorative effect on oxidative damage to DNA within cells.
Tea Saponins:
The content of tea saponins in BARENATE® TF Camellia Seed Micro Powder is approximately 12-18%.
Tea saponins are a natural non-ionic surfactant, with a basic structure comprised of triterpenoid saponin aglycone, sugar moieties, and organic acids. They possess a strong ability to cleanse, foam, moisturize, disperse, and emulsify, without irritating the skin. Additionally, tea saponins have some anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and moisturizing effects.
Polyphenols:
The polyphenols in BARENATE® TF Camellia Seed Micro Powder mainly include flavonoids and tannins, with approximately 2-7% tannins and around 0.2% flavonoids, exhibiting good antioxidant activity.
Proteins:
BARENATE® TF Camellia Seed Micro Powder contains 12-16% protein. It provides nourishment, hydration, repair, anti-wrinkle, and whitening effects for the skin, scalp, and hair.
Camellia Seed Oil:
BARENATE® TF Camellia Seed Micro Powder also contains a small amount of Camellia seed oil. This nourishes the skin and hair, and has excellent permeation-enhancing properties, aiding in the delivery of active ingredients through the skin, increasing the permeation rate of functional substances.
Formula
Formula Analysis: The formula primarily uses the finest textured 80/100 mesh Camellia seed micro powder in conjunction with SABOSOFT RP (rice starch) to effectively absorb excess oils, achieving excellent cleansing, exfoliation, skin purification, and whitening effects. The addition of betaine provides dual hydration benefits, ensuring the skin is not left dry after cleansing.
The naturally derived surfactants produce rich and stable foam. The formula is mild in nature, with minimal skin irritation, while simultaneously possessing excellent cleansing ability. This reduces skin issues caused by the accumulation of dirt in pores and the buildup of old keratin layers.
Summary:
BARENATE® TF Camellia Seed Micro Powder, rich in various nutrients, offers multifunctional benefits including cleansing, exfoliation, whitening, antioxidant activity, hydration, and enhanced permeation, making it a rare natural plant-derived surfactant. It is highly suitable for use in scrubs, shampoos, and hair care products for cleansing and conditioning. Long-term use can achieve skin care and hair-nourishing effects, realizing the integration of cleansing and skin care.
